More dead bodies found after mine blast

Bodies of two more miners were recovered after Tuesday's coal mine
blast in Sawahlunto city, West Sumatra, bringing the total
number of fatalities to 19; 12 miners are still missing,
tempointeraktif.com has reported.
The two bodies, both scorched and hard to identiffy, were found at around 09:15 a.m. The bodies were takej to Sawahlunto Hospital for autopsy.
Search workers are still looking for 12 victims trapped underground and feared dead. Most of the victims were local miner from Tanjung Ampalu in Sijunjung regency.
A preliminary probe indicated that the explosion was triggered by a methane gas leak ignited by a short circuit. (dre)
