Jakarta Deputy Governor Prijanto will answer a summons from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) over the city's plan to reclaim the North Jakarta coastal area to make way for construction.
“He will come today at 09:30 a.m.. [The summons] is about corruption prevention, there is no corruption allegation [over the project] yet,” said KPK deputy chairman Haryono Umar, as quoted by

He said the summons was related to a 60 hectare reclamation project in Marina Jaya Ancol Beach, West Ancol.
Haryono said the project involved a total of Rp 180 billion (US$17.5 million) in state funds.
The project was approved by the Jakarta Administration through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol construction in 2002.
The project was part of a major reclamation plan, which includes 32 kilometers of coastline encompassing 2,700 hectares of land.
PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol is involved in working on three separate plots of land in the area. (dre)
