English tourist treated for alleged H1N1 virus

DENPASAR: British tourist Bobbie Masoner was reportedly treated on Monday at the Sanglah hospital over suspicion of being infected with the H1N1 virus.

Masoner arrived in Denpasar on June 19 from Australia, his current residence.

The hospital officer in-charge of nursing care Agus Somia said he had been named a suspect of H1N1 virus due to his symptoms.

"He said that he felt a fever, cough and flu. Moreover, he came from an endemic area, Australia. Therefore, we put a high alert on him." - JP
