Jakarta hosts discussion on social entrepreneurship and online movement

Jakarta will host the next FreSh! discussion on Wednesday evening, at which speakers from various backgrounds will be invited to share their views on social entrepreneurship and the online movement as means of solving social problems in the country.
FreSh! (Freedom of Share) is a forum where people in the creative industry share ideas and knowledge. Every month, FreSh! enthusiasts gather and invite speakers to present their lines of work. This month's gathering, free and open to the public, will be held at The Only One Club at the FX Lifestyle X'nter in Senayan, Central Jakarta, at 6 p.m.
Today's event, supported by Acer Indonesia, Microsoft Indonesia and the nonprofit organization Books for Hope, will discuss mostly how online communities can drive social change.
Among the speakers are the UNICEF chief for private fundraising, Liem Ayling, who will talk about the role of online communities in protecting the country, founder of Books for Hope Grace Sai and Microsoft Bloggership awardee Anindita Puspitasari. (adh)
