Ponggok Resort Police of Blitar have arrested three alleged members of a syndicate that forged documents of would-be migrant workers.
Ponggok Police Chief Adj. Comr. Agus Fauzi said on Thursday that the detainees were identified as Harsyah Agusani, Slamet Santosa and Irwan Rianto, all residents of Blitar.
“We successfully located the three men after we received a report from would-be worker, Kristiana, whose documents were declared fake by Kebunderan village administration,” Fauzi said.
“During the raid, we also confiscated counterfeit birthday certificates, family cards and dozens of stamps of various institutions,” Fauzi said as quoted by

Kristiani said that she had chosen to order the documents from the syndicate to avoid complicated and long bureaucratic procedures. (ewd)
