Matahari park in Bogor closed

Agency official Sukatno Bedjo said licenses for four of the 25 premises inside the Matahari recreation park complex were under question.
"The permits were issued for residential purposes, not for a recreation park," Sukatno said as quoted by vivanews.com.
He added the closure of the park would last until the owner renewed the licenses. The immediate closure disappointed would-be visitors to the park, most of whom were students on their school holidays, who were not allowed to go inside.
"It's a shame that we weren't given any notification about this closure," said Ngatno, who came to the park with 60 of his students from state elementary school SDN Kalideres in West Jakarta.
Sixty public order officers were deployed to close the park, which sees up to 1,000 visitors daily. - JP
