DENPASAR: On Friday, British tourist Bobbi Masoner, 22, suspected of having contracted the H1N1 influenza virus, was allowed to leave Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar, Bali.
Masoner arrived in Denpasar on June 19 from Australia, his current residence, and had been receiving treatment at the hospital since Monday.
"He has gone through the incubation period, but has still been advised to stay indoors," said Agus Somia, the hospital officer in charge of nursing care, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
The condition of two other suspected H1N1 patients, a 14-year-old and a 10-year-old who arrived in Bali on the same plane as Masoner, has improved, but the hospital has sent the patients' samples to Jakarta for testing.
"We are going to treat them until the incubation period is over," Agus said. - JP
