JAKARTA: The city administration is seeking to propose an extra Rp 1.7 trillion for this year's revised budget, an official said Monday.
Head of the Jakarta Development Agency (Bappeda), Nurfakih Wirawan, said the administration had proposed a draft of the revised budget to the City Council last week.
"We're still waiting for the council to finish discussing the draft," he told reporters at City Hall.
The council is expected to approve the revised budget on July 6.
The revised budget proposal includes temporary lists of priority items.
Nurfakih said the administration and the council would discuss further which items should get the biggest allocations. - JP
