Gang fight destroys home, vehicles in Gorontalo

A gang fight that broke on early Tuesday morning in Kota Timur in Gorontalo had led to fires that destroy a house, a motorcycle and a car.Imran, a witness said that at around 2 a.m. tens of men riding motorcycles and brandishing swords a came to the house, which was located near a Al-Adha II Mosque in South Heledulaa sub-district.
“A fight broke and there were shouts to burn the car and the house,” he said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
The fire destroyed the house. An alleged leader of one of the gangs Suri and one of his gang members reportedly suffered injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
Police are still guarding the burnt house, which reportedly belong to a top official at Gorontalo administration.
The police have yet to make official statement on the incident. (dre)
