Missing Avia Star plane located

A search team has received word from a pilot who claims to have
spotted a missing Twin Otter cargo plane belonging to Avia Star
Airlines
during a flight in Yahukimo regency, Papua on Wednesday.

Pilot Daud Mongdog said he located the missing plan during his flight on an Association of Missionary Aviation (AMA) plane.
The search and rescue agency has deployed two planes to the location of the plane, which went missing just before its scheduled landing at Wamena airport, Papua, on Monday.
The agency, however, has yet to deploy any team to the location as they are still waiting for transportation.
The cargo plane was carrying food, and had a crew of three on board. (dre)
