We still have attitude problems: Police Chief

The National Police Chief General Bambang Hendarso Danuri admitted Wednesday that bad attitudes still existed in the police force.
"I received many reports concerning the arrogance of the police while tackling cases and dealing with people," he said before 5,000 people who attended the commemoration of the National Police's 63rd anniversary.
"I must admit that we need to improve the institution's culture."
Police misconduct is reportedly still rampant, a recent report from a witness who said he had been shot by a police officer without a reason is the latest case to highlight this issue.
