JAKARTA: The People's Coalition for the Supervision of Good and Clean Governance (Komwas PBB) has questioned whether presidential hopefuls running in the July 8 election are committed to reforming the bureaucracy and improving public services.
"After all those debates, we have yet to see any of the candidates substantially explaining how they will improve the system of public services," Wahyudinata, from Komwas PBB, told The Jakarta Post on Wednesday.
Representatives of the three campaign teams will speak at a seminar that will assess each candidate's plan for bureaucratic reform.
The forum will be held today and will present Sonny Keraf from the Megawati-Prabowo campaign team, Haryono Isman (SBY-Boediono) and Eko Prasojo, a professor from University of Indonesia. - JP
