Presidential hopeful Jusuf Kalla and his running mate Wiranto will
attend five campaign rallies in Jakarta on Thursday.
According to campaign spokesperson Poempida Hidayatullah, the pair will attend a rally at the Raden Intan Gymnastic Building in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, at 9 a.m..
“After that, Pak JK will head back home, while Pak Wiranto will continue attending rallies in four other locations,” she said as quoted by kompas.com on Thursday.
Wiranto is scheduled to attend rallies at Blok S field in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, a public hall in Kapuk Cengkareng, West Jakarta, the Sunter Podomoro Sports Hall in North Jakarta and the Senen Sports Hall in Central Jakarta.
In a press statement releases earlier, the pair's campaign team said that by holding smaller events in several locations rather that one big event in a single location, they would spend less and avoid traffic. (dre)
