PADANG: More than 31,250 students have enrolled in a two-day national entrance test for state-run universities in Padang, West Sumatra, which started Wednesday.
Students taking the papers in more than 100 locations across Padang will complete for 3,000 seats at Andalas University and 2,000 seats at Padang State University.
On the first day, students will take exams in math, English and Indonesian while on the second day they will undergo tests in their intended majors.
Of the 31,265 registered students, 13,260 chose social sciences, 7,385 natural sciences and the remaining 10,620 students will attempt both social and natural science majors. - JP
