Thick haze covers the Giam Siak Kecil forests in Riau province on Wednesday. Land clearing using slash-and-burn techniques is still widespread in areas earmarked as buffer zones to the forest, which concession holder Sinar Mas Forestry relinquished to the state. JP/Ricky Yudhistira

yeahhh this always happen and happen again.
every year...
In my home town ,Palembang almost every year got this smoke. I think not only in riau, in jambi and several place in south sumatera .
I hope government take a real action to prevent this issue .
