A family injured in a fire in Samarinda

A couple and their only son have been treated for sustaining severe injuries during a fire in South Sempaja, Samarinda, East Kalimantan on Saturday morning, tempointeraktif.com has reported.Ambo Upe (35), his wife and there-year-old Adnan have been treated at Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital in Samarinda. Adnan received the most severe injuries.
The fire, which occurred at around 8:30 a.m. local time, destroyed four buildings.
Witnesses said that the fire was started at Ambo's autoshop at a house he rented. Fire fighters took nine fire trucks and an hour to extinguish the fire. (dre)
