JAKARTA: Belinda Lopez, an Australian who has been living in Indonesia for a year and a half, celebrated Friday her last day in the country by swimming in one of Jakarta's landmarks, the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle's fountain.
According to the 24-year old, she did it because the fountain, along with the city's tall buildings, were her first impressions of the city.
"I want to conquer it before I leave," she said.
As police stood by and motorists passing through slowed down to watch, she jumped into the fountain, swam to the center and back. Her stunt triggered a temporary traffic slowdown. - JP

Ridiculous! Why don't she jump from the top floor of Grand Hyatt! That would be more of a news!
Bad taste and definitely stupid.
