MATARAM: Activists and retired law enforcers and civil servants established Saturday the West Nusa Tenggara Parliament Watch (NPW), in an effort to monitor the administration's policy, budget and public services.
"It's a public participation to monitor the administrative process in the province," NPW chairman Kaswadi said during the inauguration of the group.
He added regencies and municipalities in the province had allocated small portions of their budgets for public welfare, saying, "Most of the budget was allocated for consumptive purposes." -JP
