Court to brief presidential candidates on election disputes

The Constitutional Court held a closed-door meeting Monday with the three presidential tickets to discuss procedures for filing and settling disputes concerning election results.
Megawati Soekarnoputri and her running mate Prabowo Subianto, long with Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his running mate Wiranto, attended the meeting, while President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s running mate Boediono turned up without the incumbent.
Court chief Mahfud M.D. also invited General Elections Commission (KPU) chairman Abdul Hafiz Anshary, chairman of the Elections Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Nur Hidayat Sardini, Attorney General Hendarman Supanji and National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri.
