SBY to launch two mega projects in E. Kalimantan

BALIKPAPAN: After the presidential election Wednesday, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to officiate the operations of Sambera gas-powered power plant in Muara Badak, Kutai, and the Mahulu bridge in Samarinda in East Kalimantan on Monday, July 13.
The provincial administration has spent Rp 248 billion (US$ 24.8 million) on building the bridge that crosses Mahakam river and connects Sengkotek and Loa Buah subdistricts.
Spokesperson for the provincial administration, Zairin Zain said Monday that in addition to inaugurating these two mega projects, the president is also scheduled to attend the National Cooperatives Day in Samarinda. - JP
