South Tangerang distributes 2,000 doses of Tamiflu

The newly-established South Tangerang municipal administration is distributing at least 2,000 doses of Tamiflu to public health centers in the area in anticipation of the spread of the H1N1 flu.
The administration's head of Health Agency, Dadang, said that the administration was distributing the doses to 200 health centers.
“We still have 2,100 doses of Tamiflu in our back-up stock,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com. Tamiflu has been recommended as a treatment for swine flu.
In the past one montg, three residents of the municipal have been found positive with the flu, while 27 others were still suspects.
Dadang said most of the victims were found with H1N1 flu symptoms after trips aboard. (dre)
