KPUD finishes vote counting in 7 regencies

Denpasar: The Bali General Elections Commission (KPUD) has finished counting votes from the presidential election in seven regencies in the province: Denpasar, Gianyar, Buleleng, Klungkung, Bangli, Karangasem and Tabanan.

"There was no major protest. Everything went smoothly," said KPUD member Ketut Udi Prayudi.

Megawati-Prabowo in all regencies except Denpasar, the capital of Bali, where incumbent President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY)-Budiono won the majority of votes. -JP
