President visits bomb victims

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited MMC Hospital to show his sympathy to bomb victims wounded in terror attacks on two hotels in South Jakarta on Friday.
During the 30-minute visit, the president asked medical workers at the hospital to provide the best services to the victims.
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Widodo AS, State Secretary Hatta Radjasa, Information Minister M.Nuh, State Intelligence Agency chief Syamsir Siregar, National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri and Indonesian Military chief Gen. Djoko Santoso accompanied the president during the visit.
The hospital, the nearest from the hotels that came under attack, is treating 36 people, including 15 foreigners.
Another hospital, Medistra, is treating 11 people injured in the bomb blasts. (dis)
