Unisba thinks of new journalism

Bandung Islamic University (Unisba) is catching up with the latest technology of information that has affected today journalism.
The internet with all its facilities had brought journalism into the new era and broadened its scope with additional categories such as web media and citizen journalism, or also known as civic journalism.
The research body of journalism studies at the Communication Studies Department held a general lecture on June 18 at the campus hall, invited Kompas senior journalist Pepih Nugraha to give an introduction of the new style of journalism.
The event titled Journalism Goes Online: Chances and Problems in Journalism of Cyber World was also open for public.
