Dr. Soetomo General Hospital in Surabaya, East Java, is treating three people in its isolation ward after they allegedly contracted the H1N1 flu virus.

The hospital's spokesman Urip Murtedjo said Tuesday that the patients were admitted on Monday night.

Urip said that a 16-year-old boy was sent by Djuanda Airport authorities after they detected flu symptoms when he arrived from Singapore.

The other two, an 11-year-old and a nine-year-old pair of siblings, had just arrived from Bali before they were sent to the hospital.

“We have given them Tamiflu. Their high temperatures have begun to drop,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

The hospital will have the test results of the patients on Wednesday. (dre)
