The Attorney General's Office (AGO) handed over the dossiers on five suspects in the murder of Nasruddin Zulkarnaen to Tangerang District Prosecutors' Office in Banten on Friday.
The AGO has also handed over five “field operatives” of the murder: Eduardus “Edo” Ndopo, Hendrikus Kia Walen, Fransiskus Tadon Keran, Heri Santosa, and Daniel Daen into Tangerang prosecutors’ custody.
The murder case of former PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran director Nasruddin Zulkarnaen, in which the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chairman Antasari Azhar is implicated, will be tried at the Tangerang District Court.
Police have named nine suspects in the murder case, including Sigid Haryo Wibisono, president commissioner of PT Pers Indonesia Merdeka, and Sr. Comr. Williardi Wizar, a former South Jakarta police chief.
The real motive behind the murder remains unclear. Some believe the murder was triggered by a love affair involving Antasari and Nasruddin's third wife, Rani Juliani, who works at the Modernland golf course. Nasruddin was killed in a drive-by shooting on March 14 in Tangerang.
