Prabowo protests closure of his Facebook page

JAKARTA: Vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto sent a latter of protest to the US-based management of Facebook about the closure of his Facebook account on Wednesday night.

The account closure prevented Prabowo from conducting daily activities, ranging from posting news, discussion materials, photos and answering questions, VIVAnews.com reported.

The account closure was made on the grounds that Prabowo did not operate the account himself as it was run by Boyke Setiawan, Prabowo's media campaign comanager, with the help of histwo children. Prabowo only visited the account to answer questions. - JP
