A drug dealer who has been on the run from police for six years has been arrested in Tangerang, Banten, Antara news agency has reported.
Krisno H. Siregar, head of Jakarta Police's dangerous drugs and substances division, said Tuesday that the 37-year-old suspect, identified only by his initials MG, has been targeted by the police since 2003.
The suspect was arrested at a house he rented in Villa Bintaro Regensi housing complex in Pondok Aren, Tangerang.
The police confiscated 375 kilograms of marijuana, 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 50 ecstasy pills under his possession.
The suspect told the police that he got the marijuana from a woman in Aceh and the pills from a bigger dealer.
The police are hunting another suspect linked to the case. (dre)
