A team representing presidential candidates pair Megawati Soekarnoputri and Prabowo Subianto filed a lawsuit contesting the official presidential result at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday morning.
The team, headed by Gayus Lumbuun, filed the lawsuit against the official result which gave incumbent President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono a second term, with 60.80 percent of the valid votes.
Megawati and Prabowo team received 26.79 percent of the votes with incumbent Vice President Jusuf Kalla and Wiranto team receiving 12.41 percent.
Gayus and his team also submitted eight boxes of documents of administrative evidence supporting the suit.
