The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) said Wednesday it would audit the electoral roll mismanagement by the General Elections Commission (KPU).
However, BPK quickly added the audit did not intend to create a new problem in the current election process, but instead it should help improve the management of the electoral roll in 2014, kompas.com reported.
BPK member Baharuddin Aritonang said the BPK team would comprehensively audit the KPU, including the electoral roll issue and KPU procurements, such as the presence of the International Foundation for Electoral System (IFES) to help the KPU in the national vote counting.
