Elementary school student treated on H1N1 flu suspicion

An 11-year-old elementary school student has been treated at hospital in South Tangerang for allegedly contracting the H1N1 flu virus, tempointeraktif.com has reported.
Dadang, chief of the municipality health agency, said that the student has been exhibiting flu symptoms since Tuesday last week.
The student's school, Al-Fath Islamice elementary school in Cirendeu, East Ciputat, has been closed since Saturday. The school, however, has yet to make an official statement on the closure.
South Tangerang has recorded 28 cases of suspected H1N1 virus. The municipal has declared an “extraordinary incident” status due to the spread of H1N1 flu since last month. (dre)
