Telkom's net profit drops 4 percent in H1

The net profit of the country's largest telco operator, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia dropped slightly by 4 percent in the first half of this year on the back higher costs.
The company's net profit was down to Rp 6.04 trillion (US$610 million) in the first half of this year from Rp 6.3 trillion.
The company's increased operating costs, which rose 7.6 percent to Rp 19.09 trillion, led to the drop in the net profit.
