Some 3,500 tamiflu tablets distributed to Denpasar hospitals

Denpasar Health Agency in Bali has distributed around 3,500 tamiflu tablets to hospitals and clinics in the city to anticipate the spread of H1N1 flu.
The agency's spokesperson Luh Sri Armini told Antara news agency on Saturday that although the H1N1flu mortality rate was relatively low and the persons infected with the virus were able to recover sooner, the agency suggest those who had the symptoms to immediately have their health examined.
Armini said that the agency has been doing a campaign to provide people with information on the flu and ways to prevent the infection.
Earlier in the week, the Health Ministry 28 new H1N1 flu cases which brought the total number of sufferers in Indonesia to 444, including one fatality.
The ministry said the 28 new cases happened in seven provinces, namely Jakarta (13 cases), East Java (5 ), Yogyakarta (3), West Javat (3), Banten (2), Bali (1), and North Sulawesi (1). (dre)
