On-year inflation stood at 2.71 percent in July, the lowest rate since 2000, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said before the House of Representatives Monday as he delivered the planned 2010 state budget.
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) will announce the details in a press briefing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
When asked whether low inflation would allow the central bank to implement further cuts in its benchmark interest rate, Bank Indonesia (BI) senior deputy governor Darmin Nasution refused to comment.
