Your comments on the move by David Widjaya's family to take an investigation into his death to the International Court. A Singaporean Subordinate Court found David committed suicide at his university in Singapore, and was not murdered as suspected by his family.
Taking a case to the International Court involves having to go through the foreign ministry, among other bodies. It seems to me that so far the ministry has not shown that much cooperation in helping the Widjaya family at the Singapore Subordinate Court, let alone at the International Court.
Perhaps the lawyer for the Widjayas, who is renowned for winning cases that seem hopeless to others, may be able to present new evidence, or even find a loophole in the Singapore law (you never know!), to appeal to a higher court in Singapore. I wish the Widjayas all the best and may David finally rest in peace.

I personally support the move by David's family to present new evidence to a higher court. Let the world also learn what went on in Singapore.
This will also assure the other Indonesian students studying there that we do care.

Why does the Indonesian government offer no support *to the family* on this matter? Please Pak SBY, your people are struggling on their own in foreign countries. To David's family: be tough, God bless you all. Never give up.

Again, there are two sides to the coin. So far only disputes between countries can be brought to the International Court.
But I support the initiative and the effort being made by David's family to take this case to the International Court.
I hope the International Court will make suggestions and offer advice on what steps now need to be taken.

Since David's family still wishes to fight for the cause we should hope that God blesses the family. May David rest in peace.

My condolences to the family of David Hartanto Widjaya, who died tragically at a university in Singapore.
I think the court ruling that David committed suicide is final. There is no higher Court in Singapore to appeal such a ruling.
The International Court is not responsible for hearing individual criminal cases, especially where no suspected murderer is on trial. Let David's soul rest in peace.

I can't believe it. I agree with the family's decision to bring the case to the International Court. I believe the case will be strong enough to win because there is solid evidence. David's family must be strong and justice will prevail.
