Bomb threat in South Jakarta office building

A bomb threat was received by Menara Danamon office tower in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta early Thursday morning, according to a kompas.com report.

Employees were requested to evacuate the building following the threat.

The office is located in the central business district of the city, where twin suicide bomb blasts ripped through the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton hotels last month.

At this time, the police has yet to send its bomb squad to the site.

Despite the chilling memory of the recent hotel blasts, employees appeared unperturbed as they gathered outside the office tower in the early hours of the workday.
