KUPANG: East Nusa Tenggara Governor Frans Leburaya said Wednesday he had met with Forestry Minister M.S. Kaban to discuss mounting opposition to the planned relocation of 10 Komodo dragons.
"I've met with the minister and told him of the people's concerns here," he said.
"The minister understood the issue."
However, he said the minister had not decided to revoke the decree calling for the relocation of the world's largest lizards from Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, to Bali. -JP
