EKANBARU: A search and rescue team has recovered the bodies of two passengers who went missing after a their ship, the KM Sonde Jaya, sank Monday off Kuala Sador in the Meranti Islands regency of Riau.
Tebingtinggi Police chief AKP Indra Setiawan said Wednesday officers had recovered the body of Selatpanjang resident Wahyu Hidayat on Tuesday, and that of Beting resident Paheran on Wednesday.
"We found them not far from where the ship foundered," Indra said.
"They were missing limbs, but we identified them through their clothing."
