Semen Gresik to build new plant in Tuban

State cement company PT Semen Gresik is going to build a new plant in Tuban, with construction to begin mid August, with a total investment of Rp 3.5 trillion.
“We hope the new plant will become operational in 2012,” PT Semen Gresik President Director, Dwi Soetjipto, told Antara news agency in Tuban, East Java, on Friday.
The new plant is expected to produce 2.5 million tons of cement annually. (dre)
