Ministry reshuffles Pos Indonesia executives

The Office of the State Minister for State Enterprises has replaced five of six directors at state postal service provider PT Pos Indonesia, citing a need to improve its accounting system and management.
Representing the government as a shareholder, the office promoted PT Pos Indonesia vice president director I Ketut Marjana, to president director, replacing Hana Suryana who ended his tenure Wednesday.
It also appointed Sukatmo Padmosukarmo, who has a strong background in finance, as the new vice president director-cum-acting finance director.
Three other new names in the board of directors include Denny Alexander Hutapea, Ismanto, Setyo Riyanto and Entis Sutrisna.
“We expect PT Pos Indonesia to improve its accounting system and its management,” State Minister for State Enterprises Sofyan Djalil said during the appointment ceremony at his office in Jakarta.
PT Pos Indonesia provides services for the transferral of funds worth an average of Rp 80 trillion (US$8 billion) a year, he said.
