JAKARTA: All factions in the city council unanimously agreed on the revised city budget late Tuesday evening, bringing the total budget allocation of Rp 23.968 trillion (US$2.15 billion) for this year, or an extra Rp 1.547 trillion from the initial Rp 22.420 trillion.

"We will report it *the newly-endorsed revised budget* to the Home Ministry soon so that we will have more time to carry out the programs stated in the budget," Governor Fauzi Bowo was quoted by city's official website, beritajakarta.com, following the plenary meeting with the Council.

In the revised budget, the city council predicted a decline in revenue by Rp 771.1 billion from Rp 11.1 trillion to Rp 10.4 trillion. - JP
