A news report says a helicopter
carrying Malaysia's deputy prime minister has made an emergency
landing due to bad weather.
The national news agency Bernama says Deputy Prime Minister
Muhyiddin Yassin and 13 others on board the helicopter were unhurt
in the emergency landing Sunday in eastern Sabah state.
It quoted Muhyiddin as saying the pilot decided to make the
emergency landing shortly before reaching his destination due to bad
weather. Muhyiddin was on the way to the state capital, Kota
Kinabalu.
Muhyiddin's aide and other officials could not immediately be
reached for details.
