The police in Ambon, Maluku, arrested a boy scout with South Maluku Republic (RMS) writing in his back during an Indonesian independence day celebration on Monday, Antara reported.
Ambon police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Didik Agung Widjanarko told Antara that plainclothes policemen arrested the boy scout while he was joining the Indonesian independence day celebration at Pattimura Park in Ambon's Merdeka Square.
"We will investigate this incident. This writing might have been made by one of his friends last night without his knowledge," Didik said.
Didik added that the arrest of the boy scout did not disturb the independence day celebration in Ambon, which centered at the Merdeka Square and the Maluku Governor's Office.
