Seven rallies are scheduled to hit Jakarta streets Tuesday, according to the Jakarta Police Traffic Management Center.

The center said a group of teachers will rally at the Ministry of Administrative Reform at 8 a.m. at Jl. Jenderal Soedirman, Central Jakarta, while a group of nursing students will also take to the streets in in front of the House of Representatives' building in Central Jakarta at the same time.

Later in the day, at around 10 a.m., demonstrations will be staged at the State Palace and the state-run RRI public radio station office, both in Central Jakarta, and the North Jakarta Municipality Office at Jl. Yos Sudarso.

The Legal aid institute LBH Jakarta and the People's Alliance will also speak out at the State Palace.

The police are now issuing warnings of possible traffic congestion near the rally sites. (dre)
