Jl. RE Martadinata will be flood-free by September

JAKARTA: North Jakarta Public Works Office said on Tuesday the construction work on Jl. RE Martadinata heading toward Tanjung Priok Port in North Jakarta was nearly completed.

The office head, Maman Suparman, said the work would be finished by Sept. 27.

"The road won't be prone to flooding. We won't see any traffic jams along the road," Maman said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

The office raised the 1.2-kilometer road surface and built drainage on the roadside. - JP
