Chris John to begin training with sparring partner in LA

World Boxing Association featherweight champion Chris John of Indonesia begins his training in Los Angeles with a local sparring partner this week, as part of his preparation to contest a rematch against Rocky Juarez of the U.S next month.
"This week I start training with a local sparring partner. My manager and coach Craig Christian has picked my partner," Chris John said, as quoted by Antara news agency.
He added that his sparring partner's boxing style resembled the style of his opponent, Juarez, who he will fight on Sept. 19 in Las Vegas.
