The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) office questioned former legislator Max Moein on Monday at 10 a.m in relation to a bribery case in the election of former Bank Indonesia deputy governor Miranda Goeltom.

Max did not give any comments when arriving at the KPK office, Kompas.com reported

The case emerged after legislator Agus Tjondro admitted he received Rp 500 million (US$50,000) in a travel check from Miranda after she won the BI deputy governor post.

The KPK later announced four legislators at the 1999-2004 House of Representatives- Hamka Yandhu, Udju Juhaeri, Endin Soefihara, and Dhudie - as suspects in the bribery case. The commission also said it had 10 travel checks worth Rp 500 million each and other checks worth Rp 24 billion as evidence.
