The Jakarta Police handed over a murder case involving suspended Corruption Eradication Commission chairman Antasari Azhar to the Attorney General's Office (AGO) Tuesday, but he is still detained by Jakarta Police.

Two other suspects, Sigit Haryo Wibisono and Jerry Hermawan Lo, both of whom are also being questioned for the murder of businessman Nasrudin Zoelkarnen, have had their cases transferred to the AGO as well.

Jakarta Police's Crime Unit chief Sr. Comr. M. Iriawan said, "In our meeting with the Attorney General's office, they requested that the suspects be detained with us for the time being."

Antasari, who was present for the proceedings of his case transfer, was not willing to comment. He was accompanied by lawyers, including Hotma Sitoempol, Ari Yusuf Amir, Muhammad Asegaf and Junivert Girsang.
