Senayan residential area catches fire

A fire on Wednesday razed a densely populated residential area in Patal Senayan, Central Jakarta. There are no immediate reports of injuries or material losses.
Kompas.com has reported that houses in the area were still on fire as of 8 p.m.
Residents started to flee the area as none of fire engines had arrived at the scene of the blaze.
The accident caused traffic jams in roads leading to Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, and Slipi, Central Jakarta. (ewd)
