JAKARTA: South Jakarta Transportation Office suspended the operations of 16 public transportation vehicles as the owners of those vehicles failed to pass the required roadworthiness tests.
Those 16 vehicles consist of one minibus serving the Pasar Minggu-Depok route and 15 vehicles operating in the Pasar Minggu-Pondok Labu route.
Office head Tedy Sutisna said, as quoted by beritajakarta.com, that if officers found any of the drivers of suspended minivans still running their service, they would stop them right away and tow their vehicles to the pound. - JP
